I’ve been an Arkansas native my whole life. I was born and raised in northeast Arkansas, where my passion for the outdoors began at an early age. Under the guidance of my father, I learned the joys of hunting and fishing, exploring the natural beauty of our state while pursuing whitetail deer, ducks, and all the game the Natural State has to offer. When I wasn’t competing on the ball fields, you could find me on the water or in the woods with friends and family. My roots run deep in the agricultural community, as I spent a significant amount of time on my grandparents' farm in southeast Missouri, where I developed a strong appreciation for rural living. My athletic journey took me through junior college baseball at John A. Logan and Three Rivers Community College, ultimately leading me to play at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. After graduating, I had the opportunity to play professionally for the Evansville Otters in the independent league. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked at Nucor Yamato Steel, where I have held a variety of roles, including leadership positions. As a property owner and a Level I and II Deer Steward, certified through the National Deer Association, I understand the unique needs and concerns of buyers and sellers in the rural real estate market. In my spare time, I enjoy managing my property in Garland County, Arkansas, where I continue to hunt whitetails and embrace the outdoors. I also have a passion for competitive long-drive golf and look forward to getting back into the swing of things soon.
